Each subdirectory carries a provenance comment noting its pre-reorg path and already has its own `README.md`. - **[legacy/](legacy/)** — The former top-level `docs/archive/` tree, including `phase-1/` peer-review submission material. - **[operations/](operations/)** — The former `docs/05-operations/`: CI/CD, Jenkins pipeline, workflow, and backlog-gatekeeper docs. - **[quality/](quality/)** — The former `docs/04-quality/`: audits, phase tracking, regression, and validation records. - **[research/](research/)** — The former `docs/06-research/`: literature review, research outline, DoE metrics schema, results-for-publication drafts. - **[session-logs/](session-logs/)** — The former `docs/07-session-logs/`: dated development-session worklogs and recaps. - `COMPUTATIONAL_PHYSICS_FRAMEWORK.md` — **HISTORICAL**, contains out-of-scope claims superseded by `docs/working/papers/ANTI_CLAIMS.md`.
