\section*{Quality Directory Index (Historical)}
This index documented the \texttt{docs/04-quality/} directory at the time of
the December 2025 codebase audit. It recorded key quality metrics then current:
936+ tests across 22 categories, 0\% algorithmic variance across 90
experimental runs, and a zero-warnings build posture under \texttt{-Wall
-Werror}. The directory structure it describes has since been reorganized into
\texttt{docs/working/archive/quality/}. The metrics remain accurate for the
production codebase. Retained as a historical navigation reference.
