What Was Accomplished This Session
1. ✅ Completed FMEA Approval & Parent Unblocking Workflow
File: .github/workflows/fmea-approval-and-unblock.yml (289 lines)
This was the critical missing piece in the governance lifecycle:
Problem Addressed:
- Previously: FMEA blocked parent issue, but unblocking required manual QA Lead action
- Bottleneck: Approval → waiting for QA Lead → manual label removal → parent can proceed
- Result: Delays in workflow progression
Solution Implemented:
- Workflow monitors FMEA issues for stakeholder approvals (✅ APPROVED format)
- Automatically detects when all required stakeholders have approved
- Removes blocking labels from parent issue (
fmea-required,blocked) - Adds
fmea-approvedlabel for visibility - Prepares FMEA for vault routing with metadata
- Notifies QA Lead of archival steps
Impact: Eliminates wait between FMEA approval and parent unblocking
